Accra 20th March, 2020 – Dream July Foundation, a non-governmental organisation aimed at putting smiles on the faces of orphans, destitute and needy pupils in deprived communities, among others, has partnered with Fidelity Bank to donate school bags to pupils of Ebenezer Hill No.1 School, New Sebrepor in the Kpone Katamanso Municipality.
The project donation dubbed “A bag for a smile” was heavily represented by a few dignitaries such as: the Municipal Education Directorate represented by Mr. Asibi Anaba (Admin and Finance Manager and Mr. Louis Ayieb; the Basic Education Coordinator.
Representing the Fidelity Bank team were: The branch Manager, Mr. Faithman Stephen Nartey, Mr. Victor Awudjah, Miss Mavis Sefa and Mr. Emmanuel Afedi Tetteh.
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Madam Dora Amponsah, the Assistant Headmistress of the school said, “we are very excited for the kind gesture done us by Dream July Foundation and Fidelity Bank. These items together with the gifts in them will go a long way to motivate these little ones to come to school.”
Commenting on their desire to join Dream July Foundation, the Fidelity Bank team led by the branch Manager of the area said: As an institution, we thought it wise to also contribute to the educational growth of the pupils in the area. Thus partnering Dream July Foundation to execute this was simply in our core mandate.”
Dream July Foundation is a legally registered and approved Non-Governmental Organization working for underprivileged children, orphans, destitute and other vulnerable groups in society irrespective of religion, community, tribe and gender. The Foundation aims to support these individuals and communities with some of the necessities of life to make living more dignifying for the less privileged children.
With a genuine love and passion for children, the Foundation deems it fulfilling in touching the lives of the underprivileged children and putting great smiles on their faces.
